Survey and diagnosis methods

These activities concern the development and the evaluation of investigation methods, and their application to the diagnosis of structures.

The applications concern :

  • the assessment of the internal damage of pavements (cracking, debonding of interfaces), using different non-destructive methods : deflection measurements, mechanical waves propagation, radar ;

  • the development of methods to evaluate pavement surface characteristics ;

 


  • the prediction of the remaining service life of a pavement ;

  • the assessment and the study of the pathologies of concrete structures by the combination of different methods of investigation (electromagnetic and mechanical waves ...).
