Three young graduates at LAMES
The graduation ceremony of the Ecole Centrale de Nantes took place at the Cité des Congrès on 1st December 2017.
Among the laureats were :
- Hanan Nasser, for her Ph.D. in civil engineering defended in December 2016 (direction A. Chabot). Hanan continues her research work in a post-doc (Colas contract) at LAMES on the modeling of FABAC tests for the study of cracking in asphalt pavements.
- Marie-Antoinette Al Hajj, for her Master in Civil Engineering (internship done at LAMES, supervisor G. Villain), obtained in September 2017. Since October 1st, Marie-Antoinette is doing a thesis on the inversion of electrical and electromagnetic measurements made by non-destructive methods on concrete (direction G. Villain).
- Pawan Deep, for his Master in Applied Mechanical Sciences (SMA) - Numerical Mechanics (internship done at LAMES on 2D mechanical analysis of discontinuities in electrified pavements, supervisor A. Chabot), obtained in September 2017. Since October 1st, Pawan is doing a thesis in Denmark as part of the ITN SMARTI European project with Dynatest.
